Join us on a long weekend trip to Sequoia National Park, home to the world's largest trees (including the famous General Sherman), pristine alpine meadows, and crystal-clear rivers. The winter time is the ideal time to visit, with snow covering most of the park but with sunny skies and mild weather. We have a stunning lodge reserved by a river and are so excited to be bringing together a group of ladies to explore this region of California together inshaAllah! We have a spacious cabin reserved in Three Rivers, CA for this 4 day/3 night trip and it is around a 3.5 hr drive from LA and a 4 hour drive from the Bay Area. If you are flying in, please plan to land by 3 pm on Friday, February 16th and leave no earlier than 4 pm on Monday, Feb 19th. Fill out the RSVP form ASAP, spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. We require a $100 non-refundable deposit to confirm your spot and the final cost (which covers accommodations, food, activities, and transportation within Arizona) for the weekend trip will be $425 (which includes the deposit iA). Payment can be made through Venmo (@mawa-co) or Zelle (mawa.collective@gmail.com).

Feda is a teacher and SoCal native, she loves immersing herself in nature & takes every opportunity to spend time outdoors. She has led two Ma'wa trips already and is excited to be taking our group out to one of our favorite locations: Santa Barbara!
