Join us from Feb 9 -11th for a winter trip in upstate New York in the Adirondack Mountains! We'll be staying near Warrensburg, NY which is has plenty of trails to hike and explore nearby. If you're the more adventurous type, we'll have options to go snowshoeing, hiking, and seeing a few frozen waterfalls in the Whiteface area. We will also be enjoying the winter wonderland vibes indoors with hot cocoa, campfires, and a hot tub! Our lodging will be in a beautiful cabin next to the river during this 3 day/2 night group trip. Please plan to arrive at our cabin 6 pm on Friday, February 9th at the latest. We require a $100 non-refundable deposit to confirm your spot (total cost including deposit is $300). In the past, we have had spots open first-come, first-serve but we want to accomodate for girls that need a little more time to commit and to leave space for new girls that have not previously attended any trips. Nadah is an Egyptian Muslim-American woman who grew up with a love for the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, and most recently mountaineering. She’s visited 27 national parks across the US and completed treks to Everest Base Camp, summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Mt. Kosciuszko in Australia, and received a scholarship to summit Glacier Peak in Washington state this past summer with Climbers of Color. She is passionate about making the outdoors more accessible to others in her community which is how the idea for Ma’wa was born.
