Join Ma'wa Collective on this 9 day/8 night trip as we hike through Peru, visit Inca ruins, and experience the incredible Andean mountain passes. We will spend 4 incredible days trekking along the famous Inca Trail and pass through the Sun Gate for that first magical sighting of Machu Picchu! On our final day, we will be completing a hike up to the beautiful Rainbow Mountain and exploring other areas of Peru such as the Sacred Valley.

This iconic trek will cover approximately 26 miles (42 km) over 4 days. When you click RSVP above, you'll see our day-by-day itinerary. You do not need to have a multi-day hiking experience in the past, but we recommend all participants are active in walking, running, or hiking to prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime experience and are mentally prepared for a challenging experience!

What is not included in the above cost for this trip: flights (please fly into Cusco airport), gratuities, travel insurance, extra hike up Huayna Picchu Mountain ($75), and equipment rentals. The rental costs are listed here: Sleeping Bag is $25, Inflatable Air Mattress/Sleeping Pad: $20, and Hiking Poles (Pair): $20.

Dalia is a Kurdish Muslim American woman from San Diego, California. She attributes her lifelong affinity for the outdoors to her Kurdish culture and upbringing- one that instills a deep relationship to mountains as a way to connect to ancestors and faith. She enjoys backpacking, hiking, kayaking, cycling, pilates, and yoga. Dalia has 10+ years experience leading wilderness adventures with several nonprofits and universities across the globe. She is also a certified leadership coach and restorative justice practitioner, passionate about community care and empowerment through authentic connections- which are best made in nature!
